We are all looking for value and being someone important. We are all looking for love.
I think if we truly saw our value this world would look very different! This applies not only to the non-Christians, but to us Christians as well!
I think there would be less gossip, envy and judging others if we really saw who we truly are, I actually think these things would not be a problem, even sin would not be a problem anymore if we truly saw who we are!
See this important encouragement, which I think can help you and inspire you!

Can I Lose My Salvation?

I can actually tell you my answer right away: You can't!
When you hear this answer and statement, you may think: You must be a Bible teacher who says that it is perfectly fine to sin and we can sin as much as we want without any consequences.
Can I tell you one thing: There is no place in the Bible where it says you can lose your salvation in the same way that you might lose your wallet, for example. Salvation is not something you suddenly lose, like doing a sin or falling into a sin.
One of the biggest fears many Christians have is if they have done the unpardonable sin and loose their salvation. It could be anything from lying, or sleeping with their girlfriend, got drunk at a party or being angry with God and saying a swear word to him.
Or they may even think they are not forgiven and rejected by God (lost their salvation) until they have pleaded forgiveness for a sin they have done, even several years back.
Do I say with this that it's OK to sin then? NO by no means! Sin is an enemy and it will trick you and it has negative consequences for you and others, but you do not lose salvation when you sin.
But does it mean that when I became a Christian I was guaranteed a place in heaven anyway? Am I once saved, always saved?

Good News??

Are we truly proclaiming the Good News?
We as Christians say that we are those who have the Good News, because the Gospel means that, but is this the reality for most Christians? Do we experience that it is good news for us?
Many focus on avoiding hell and get to heaven one day, and that is Good News, but is it good news for us here and now, in the life we live right now?
Is the news that we are just some wicked sinners who hope to come to heaven one day if we do not sin too much or have remembered to confess every single little sin we have done since you were three years old, good news?
What about the news that you are a new creation, but you still have a dirty, dark part of your soul that you must try to crucify and suppress daily. Is this the good news?
How about the news that you have become righteous and holy, but you must constantly fight a fight to stay in it. Is this the good news?
You are righteous and holy as a state, not in your identity. Is this good news?
You have become righteous in your spirit, but your soul and body are still partly or completely evil. Is this the good news?
Jesus has forgiven you all your sins, but if you do not daily confess your sins, or have forgotten to confess one, you are suddenly no longer forgiven. Is this the good news?
How about the truth that we are sons and daughters of God but that we may lose our salvation if we do something that God does not like, or something we say or a repeated sin we do. Is this the good news?
