Are we truly proclaiming the Good News?

We as Christians say that we are those who have the Good News, because the Gospel means that, but is this the reality for most Christians? Do we experience that it is good news for us?
Many focus on avoiding hell and get to heaven one day, and that is Good News, but is it good news for us here and now, in the life we live right now?

Is the news that we are just some wicked sinners who hope to come to heaven one day if we do not sin too much or have remembered to confess every single little sin we have done since you were three years old, good news?

What about the news that you are a new creation, but you still have a dirty, dark part of your soul that you must try to crucify and suppress daily. Is this the good news?

How about the news that you have become righteous and holy, but you must constantly fight a fight to stay in it. Is this the good news?
You are righteous and holy as a state, not in your identity. Is this good news?

You have become righteous in your spirit, but your soul and body are still partly or completely evil. Is this the good news?

Jesus has forgiven you all your sins, but if you do not daily confess your sins, or have forgotten to confess one, you are suddenly no longer forgiven. Is this the good news?

How about the truth that we are sons and daughters of God but that we may lose our salvation if we do something that God does not like, or something we say or a repeated sin we do. Is this the good news?

What about that by his stripes we have been healed, but if you have not confess all your sins, paid the tenth and have not a big faith, or forgotten to pray or bless Israel God will not heal you. Is this the good news?

What about that God has blessed us with all spiritual blessings, but if you do not give the tithing, you rob from God and are under a curse. Is this the good news?

What about have been set free (for freedom, Christ has freed us) but you must keep in mind to read the Bible every day, pray every day and keep away from anything that can tempt you. Is this the good news?

What about that we are death with Christ, but that we still have to try to die to ourselves every day. Is this the good news?

God loves all people (for so have God loved the world…), but hate you if you should sin, especially fall in some of the “great” sins. Is this the good news?

These things I’ve mentioned here are said or indirectly preached in churches all around the world every week? But are they the good news?
For me, it seems to be the confusing and contradictory news. It’s also mostly bad news, not good news.

What about if you really were a whole new creation throughout soul, spirit and body, with a mind that just needs to be renewed about this truth? Is this the Good News?

What if your identity has become holy and righteous, not just a state of being? Is this the Good News?

What if your nature was united with Christ’s nature and what if you were one hundred percent in Him right now? Is this the Good News?

What if your greatest enemy was not yourself, but the lies you think about yourself? Is this the Good News?

What if you’re still God’s beloved son and daughter, and he loves you unconditional even after you’ve sinned? Is this the Good News?

What if God is love and that we do not have to fear condemnation, guilt and shame? Is this the Good News?

What if God was not angry at you? Is this the Good News?

What if we can never lose our salvation? (I do not say you can deny it or reject God, you still have a choice, but you do not suddenly lose salvation as you have lost your wallet. There is nothing about losing salvation in the Bible) Is this the Good News?

What if God has forgiven you for all your sins, past, present, and future? Is this the Good News?

What if our fallen sin nature (Adam’s nature) is already crucified and dead once and for all? Is this the Good News?

What if the Christian life was about finding out who we are created to be and know our creator? So that we can love Him, others and ourselves. Is this the Good News?

What if the Christian life was about finding back to who we are, and not trying to become something we are not yet? Is this the Good News?

What if it’s about finding back to ourselves, not erase ourselves by trying to die to ourselves? Is this the Good News?
(If you think this, that you need to erase your selves, I would recommend you to convert to Buddhism)

I think this is: The Good News! (The Gospel) And I think this is precisely what the Bible want to tell us, but has been obscured, distorted and confused by religion and traditions.
