We are in one of the hottest months of the year now, and the summer vacation has already begun out here, but in our ministry we are not going to have a vacation right now.
This newsletter will mainly be about a piece of land we have rented for our ministry: Good News for the Shan, which has been an answer to prayer for us and has a great potential for the future and we have already seen some good results by just having it for a few weeks.
Got a Heart for a Village
When I moved to Thailand as a missionary for the first time in early 2000, I was quite sick and did not do a lot of ministry, but I had a motorcycle. I took a ride on my motorcycle every day on a hill where I had a good view of the whole Fang valley, and I prayed for the Shan people and that people should hear the Good News here. I also prayed for a village behind this place, and this is where we now have rented a piece of land and have a lot of our ministry.
I got a heart for this place and the village, but it was quite far (about 30 minutes with car) from where we started the ministry I was part of until 2016 (2003-2016) and we did not have much activity there, just a few sporadic house churches.

Newsletter December 2017
Here is a Christmas Newsletter from us here in Northern Thailand.
In Thailand, the "cold" season has begun, it means that you need to wear jacket in the morning and we do not have to use aircon. But if you live on the ricefield, it can actually be cold in the mornings, sometimes down to 10 degrees Celsius.
We have already started to have Christmas parties and preparations for Christmas parties here in Northern Thailand.
The month of December is a grate opportunity to tell the Good News to the Shan people, and they have very often not ever heard what Christmas is all about. It is also a very busy time in our ministry and for us as a family.
We will have some updates and two stories in this e.mail.

Newsletter February 2018
We are in a beginning of a new year and we hope you have had a good start!
We have experienced many things in the last two months and we are not able to share everything with you, but here are some highlights:
- During Christmas we experienced that several people wanted to get to know God and received the greatest gift!
- After New Year, an elderly lady was miraculously healed.
- I would also like to say something about that we recently had a two-year wedding anniversary

Newsletter October 2017
Here are some news from us here in northern Thailand.
We are at the end of the monsoon season now, but it seems as all the rain came in early October instead of June and August. It pored down for several days, and there were many floods several places here in Thailand.
This newsletter will be about an answer to prayer in connection with my wife's visa and a visit from a Canadian DTS team for nine days. They help us to reach out and encourage many Shan People, and some even got saved.

Newsletter September 2017
Here are some news from us here in northern Thailand.
We are in the middle of the monsoon season now, and the weather is changing quickly from sunshine to heavy rain. I'm glad to have a 4wd pickup, otherwise it would be difficult to get out on the rice fields and orange farms where we every weeks visit and do ministry among the Shan people.
In this newsletter we will write about two stories. One is about a family who recently came to Thailand and had to flee back again, and one is about two boys who disappeared for five days and they were found trough Facebook.
