Many Christians often pray this prayer: God use me! I myself have prayed this prayer, especially when I were in my teens.
One of the reasons was that I were afraid that I could not be used for anything, and I attached my identity to what I could do and to be used for.
I have one year and 3 months old daughter (when I write this) and I love her over all on this earth. But my thoughts are not this: What can I use my daughter for, or what can she do for me? Had I been thinking so, I would have been a selfish, self-seeking and evil father.

The Bible says that the joy of the Lord is our strength (Neh. 10: 8). If you are depressed and worried do you have strength? We have little strength and power if we do not have joy.
The joy is in you already, but you need to discover it more and more.
We also have an enemy who is looking for an opportune to steal our joy and peace. Learn how to discover more of this joy, which can even heal you and set you free.
I have also include some personal stories in this encouragement.

We are all looking for value and being someone important. We are all looking for love. I think if we truly saw our value this world would look very different! This applies not only to the non-Christians, but to us Christians as well!
I think there would be less gossip, envy and judging others if we really saw who we truly are, I actually think these things would not be a problem, even sin would not be a problem anymore if we truly saw who we are!
See this important encouragement, which I think can help you and inspire you!
(This is an additional version of a teaching I had for some months ago )
Many Christians don’t understand Galatians 5:17 very well, about the struggle between the Spirit and the flesh. Many people when they look at this verse they think that this it is about our new spirit and nature, fighting against the evil part of me, called the flesh.
It means I still have a struggle on the inside and I have to constantly try to be in my spirit and try to kill the flesh, the evil side of myself.
First, notice that the Spirit is capitalized, that means it’s not about your spirit but God’s Spirit. Secondly, remember that the flesh is not you, because you are already in the spirit and not in the flesh. The flesh is crucified already and you live in the spirit now, it is very clear in some verses later (5:24-25), but the flesh will try to influence you so you do not do what you really want to do. You have God and His Spirit on one side that will affect you and lead you, while you have the flesh on the other side who also wants to lead you, but none of them are you and the flesh is not in you either, or your true nature. Although you have already become a new creation and have a divine nature.
You are in the middle and you can choose to follow the flesh or the Spirit.
My encouragement today is maybe one of my most important messages. It also summaries the message I really want people to get hold of. Don’t miss this encouraging message I have called: Your Identity is Very Good, and You Are Highly Loved
